"Food For Thought" Zoom 英語 Discussion  12月15日 "Traffic Rules and Accepted Traffic Behaviour in Different Countries."

Host: Malavika

"I used to like walking to places but after recently getting a new bicycle the superior experience of getting to places in a jiffy and to feel something close to flying a Harry Potter broomstick with the wind whipping against my face, it makes me wonder how I even considered walking to places . This makes me think about how much transportation has improved our quality of life. It is interesting to see how entire countries differ in the preferred transportation mode (public vs private) and whether or not that trend is changing because of factors such as a) the recent pandemic and b) climate change. Join us as we discuss not only the future of transportation (driverless cars, Japan’s faster than shinkansen trains etc.) but also traffic rules and accepted traffic behaviour in different countries."
