As a foreigner in Japan, there is always a longing sensation whenever the year reaches a period of a festive season back home. I see my friends and family celebrates back home, while I am miles away from any of them. Plus, sometimes it gets difficult to time it right and meet up with friends here who celebrate the same festivals here in Japan, due to different public holidays.
